Ein h\u00f6herer Druck ist notwendig um Eindringen von Quecksilber in kleinere Poren zu erhalten. Quecksilber kann bereits in gr\u00f6\u00dferen Poren eindringen bei niedrigem Druck. Auf diese Weise kann ein breites Bereich von Porengr\u00f6\u00dfen gemessen werden und &nbsp;eine Porengr\u00f6\u00dfenverteilung ab 4 nm (Druck = 400 MPa) bis zum 800 \u03bcm (Vakuum) analysiert werden. Dies hat zur Folge das Quecksilber Porosimetrie sehr geeignet ist f\u00fcr Materialien mit einer breiten Verteilung der Poren oder haupts\u00e4chlich Makroporen und hohe Porosit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vor der Analyse wird Vakuum oder Flow Entgasung eingesetzt um Feuchtigkeit von der por\u00f6sen Struktur zu entfernen. Au\u00dfer Informationen \u00fcber die Porosit\u00e4t durch Poren in der Festk\u00f6rper, k\u00f6nnte auch Informationen \u00fcber die Porosit\u00e4t zwischen Partikeln (Inter-Partikeln Porosit\u00e4t) abgeleitet werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Niederdruck und Hochdruck Quecksilber Porosimetrie Messungen finden statt auf die CE-Instruments Pascal 140 und 440 Porosimeters.
