La d\u00e9termination des \u00e9l\u00e9ments ayant une masse atomique plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que fluor (Z&gt; 9) est possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019\u00e9chantillon est irradi\u00e9 de rayonnements \u00e0 haute valeur \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. Au niveau atomique, ces rayons vont entra\u00eener l\u2019\u00e9mission d\u2019un \u00e9lectron. En cons\u00e9quence, un \u00e9lectron d\u2019une \u00e9corce sup\u00e9rieure descend en \u00e9mettant des rayons X caract\u00e9ristiques en longueur d\u2019onde. L\u2019intensit\u00e9 de rayons X \u00e9mit est proportionnelle \u00e0 la concentration de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment correspondant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des \u00e9chantillons liquides ou sous forme solide peuvent \u00eatre analys\u00e9s.
