Niettemin kan een goed gemengd systeem ontmengen tijdens het transport, bijvoorbeeld bij het lossen in een bak of big-bag, het vervoer in een vrachtwagen of pijpleiding, maar dit kan ook gebeuren bij het laden van het poeder in bijvoorbeeld een tablettenpers voor de productie van farmaceutische tabletten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voorspelling en kwantificering van dit segregatiefenomeen kan worden uitgevoerd in ons laboratorium. De neiging tot flu\u00efdisatiesegregatie van poeders kan worden beoordeeld volgens de ASTM D6941-norm. Bij deze segregatietest wordt een vast volume van een representatief poedermonster geflu\u00efdiseerd en verzameld in verschillende fracties. Vervolgens worden de deeltjesgrootteverdeling en de dichtheid in de bovenste en onderste fractie bepaald om de segregatietendens van het monster te kwantificeren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De ontmengingstendens van poeders wordt beoordeeld overeenkomstig ASTM-norm D6940. Een representatief monster van een vaste stof in bulk wordt in de bovenste trechter geplaatst en in de onderste trechter op een hoop gegooid, zodat de segregatie kan plaatsvinden. Het gesegregeerde poeder wordt in een trechtervormig stromingspatroon afgevoerd, zodat zones van gesegregeerd poeder worden teruggevonden. Monsters worden verzameld uit de afvoerstroom en onderverdeeld door een roterende riffler om te worden getest met betrekking tot de toepassing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Onlangs hebben wij ook trillingssegregatie aan onze portefeuille toegevoegd. Deze op trillingen gebaseerde segregatie is bedoeld om bijvoorbeeld transport na te bootsen en kan dus informatie verschaffen over hoe gemakkelijk een materiaal segregatie kan vertonen op basis van trillingen.
