Daarom hebben wij de cruciale analysetechnieken zoals BET-oppervlak, elektronenmicroscopie, dynamische lichtverstrooiing en differenti\u00eble centrifugale bezinking in \u00e9\u00e9n business unit ondergebracht. Op deze manier kunnen wij onze klanten optimaal van dienst zijn bij het testen van nanodeeltjes. Deze testtechnieken voor nanomaterialen zijn gedocumenteerd in het Nanodefine-methodenhandboek en in het GCO-kader dat nauw verband houdt met de aanbeveling van de Europese Commissie inzake de definitie van nanomaterialen (2011\/696\/EU). Het defini\u00ebren van een materiaal als nanomateriaal door middel van experimenten is niet zo eenvoudig als het lijkt. De definitie uit 2011 is nog steeds geldig. De grens van de definitie is dat 50% of meer van de deeltjes in de korrelgrootteverdeling een externe dimensie moet hebben in het groottebereik van 1 &#8211; 100 nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze testactiviteiten voor nanodeeltjes zijn nodig bij de strengere REACH- en EFSA-registraties. Ondertussen kan de enorme verscheidenheid aan beschikbare documenten op de website van de EC het moeilijk maken om een duidelijk onderzoekspad te vinden voor de beoordeling van nanodeeltjes.
