Course content SEM from A to Z:

  • Introduction porous and non-porous materials, porosity and surface area
  • Physical gas adsorption
  • Mercury intrusion porosimetry
  • Chemical gas adsorption
  • Pycnometry
  • Comparison of techniques for porosity assessment
  • Quality, reference materials and standards

Methodology
Theory and practical assignments alternate. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments with which you perform relevant experiments in small groups under direct and expert supervision.

Result

The Result
After the training, you will have gained sufficient skills to apply SEM in your own work environment with and make informed choices for your applications.

The diploma
After successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of participation.
