Thermogravimetry Analysis

Thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) accurately measures the change in weight of a sample as it is heated, cooled or held at constant temperature for a certain period of time.

Our TGA equipment can operate in a wide temperature range and in different atmospheres, such as intert gases as nitrogen or helium or simply air but also humid air to further research the influence of water vapor on the adsorption and / or desorption of certain species. Connection with a mass spectrometer can also be made to obtain more detailed chemical information on the evolved gases or vapors.
